Speaker Bio: Dan Winkler

 

Dan Winkler was born in Port Arthur, TX, the eldest of three sons, to Wendell and Betty Winkler. In 1971, he married his high school sweetheart, Diane, and the Lord gave them the honor of raising three wonderful sons.

 

Dan graduated from Oklahoma Christian College in 1973 with a BA in Bible, minoring in Greek and Speech. He secured his Masters from David Lipscomb College in 1988 with an emphasis in New Testament studies.

 

He has been preaching the unsearchable riches of Christ since 1969 and almost 40% of his ministry was with one church, the Huntingdon Church of Christ in Huntingdon, TN. He served as a member of the Freed Hardeman University Bible faculty for about fifteen years, before retiring in the spring of 2019.

 

Brother Dan has filmed thirty-three videos and authored sixteen books, the latest entitled: Something Happened When I Prayed. He is one of the two host for the podcast: TODAY WITH JESUS which airs every Tuesday on the Lightnetwork.com.
