Speaker Bio: Scott Harp

Scott Harp is a native of Haleyville, Alabama. He graduated High School from Greater Atlanta Christian School in 1976; Attended Freed-Hardeman University – 1976,'77; and graduated with the B.A. degree from Heritage Christian University in 1989. 

His wife, Jenny is a native New Zealander. They have three children and six grandchildren, all of whom are active in churches of Christ. 

Scott is an avid researcher, especially in the area of Restoration History. He has written several articles for brotherhood papers, and in 2019 released a biography on the life of Gus Nichols, entitled, The Sage of Jasper. Since 2000 he has edited TheRestorationMovement.com. 

Scott has served churches in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Kentucky. He spent nearly eight years in mission work in New Zealand. He has conducted mission efforts in Great Britain and several of the Pacific Island nations. 

Scott Harp is presently the minister for the Crittenden Drive Church of Christ, in Russellville, Kentucky.
