Three Reasons
- The Deficiencies of Sight
- God has no deficiencies of sight and he guides us on the right path.
- Jer. 10:23 -23 I know, O Lord, that the way of man is not in himself,
that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.
- Prov. 14: 12 -12 There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death.
- Heb. 4:13 - 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
-
- Job 34:21-22 -21 “For his eyes are on the ways of a man,
and he sees all his steps.
22 There is no gloom or deep darkness
where evildoers may hide themselves. - Mat. 7:13-14 -13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
- Job 34:21-22 -21 “For his eyes are on the ways of a man,
-
- Psa. 37:23 - 23 The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
when he delights in his way;
- Psa. 140:1-5 - Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men;
preserve me from violent men,
2 who plan evil things in their heart
and stir up wars continually.
3 They make their tongue sharp as a serpent's,
and under their lips is the venom of asps.4 Guard me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked;
preserve me from violent men,
who have planned to trip up my feet.
5 The arrogant have hidden a trap for me,
and with cords they have spread a net;
beside the way they have set snares for me. - 1 Sam 23:10-13 -10 Then David said, “O Lord, the God of Israel, your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city on my account. 11 Will the men of Keilah surrender me into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? O Lord, the God of Israel, please tell your servant.” And the Lord said, “He will come down.” 12 Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul?” And the Lord said, “They will surrender you.” 13 Then David and his men, who were about six hundred, arose and departed from Keilah, and they went wherever they could go. When Saul was told that David had escaped from Keilah, he gave up the expedition.
